.
Khandalar is a Human Mage.
Appearance
Khandalar is an imposing individual at 6'4" he is easily spotted in a crowd. His long dark hair is dreadlocked and plaited, falling around his shoulders and cascading down his back. His copper-coloured eyes bore into people and when he speaks, his deep voice has the measured tones of one of those that is used to giving commands. Khandalar is well built and looks extremely powerful but this is just show, whilst being in relatively good shape he is not particularly strong. Khandalar's skill lies in his sharpness of intellect and his knowledge of the world.
Background
Khandalar's real name is Otto Bricksmith although he never uses this name. He was schooled by the best minds and mages that his parent's money could buy and from a very young age he knew he was destined for greatness. His parents were sadly killed in a bizarre gardening accident some 10 years ago, something that Khandalar does not talk about. Khandalar has spent the last 10 years studying, keeping himself in shape and living by his wits. Being considerably smarter than the average citizen of Cauldron it has been easy for Khandalar to make a living, parting the weak of mind and strong of purse from the contents of their purses.
Personality
Khandalar conveys an air of nobility to those that he meets. He is very much in control of the situation and not one to be easily ruffled. In reality, Khandalar is an extremely lazy, selfish person whose only goal in life is his own greatness. If there is no gain for Khandalar in an action then it will be extremely difficult to motivate him. Conversely, if there is gain for Khandalar in his action then he will be a driven individual working day and night to achieve the goal.
Khandalar is the type of person who holds grudges and will seek vengance on those who cross him. Khandalar is the centre of the universe which orbits him and whilst he is not a particularly nice person, he has his moments.

A few unitelligible words and fleeting gestures carry more power than a battleaxe, when they are the words and gestures of a wizard
