Background

Cass never knew her parents. At the age of three she was brought to the Lantern Street Orphange in Cauldron. She has no memories before that.

Gretchyn the Orphange's motherly halfling headmistress cared for and nurtured the young girl, though it was obvious she had witness something intensly disturbing and stressful. Until the age of seven the young girl never once uttered a word, not even to say what her name was.

The kids and staff simply called her 'Red' though she allways considered this an unimaginiative description rather than a proper given name.

At the age of seven and young lad was brought to the orphanage who befriended Cass and brought her out of her shell. The two friends were as thick as thieves for years, always plotting mischief and andventures. When at the age of ten Cass began to discover her inate talent for magic, it greatly disturbed her at first.

In the beginning she could not control the energies flowing through her maturing body and people and property were getting hurt and damaged. Fearful of retribution Cass decided to run-away. She tried to slip out by herself but kellen wasn't having that and knowing exactly what she was up tom and planned to leave with her.

Using here new ability she devised a plan where by Killen held Cass on his shoulders then taking one of the bed sheets she raped it over them. Cass change there appearance to look like a made and the bed sheet transforming into a robe to cover Killen, there by being able to simply slip out the front door with ease.

So together at the age of ten Cass and kellen ran away from the orpahange.
